Driving Directions

Rosaryville State Park is accessible from South US Route 301 just south of Osbourne Road. Rosaryville offers two separate covered pavilions for day use. Each pavilion can accommodate up to 200 guests and is furnished with picnic tables and two large charcoal grills. A bathroom facility is located immediately adjacent to the pavilions and ample paved parking is available. The pavilions are located on beautiful rolling fields with miles of wooded trails for biking and equestrian use. A playground for small children is nearby.

Parking is not allowed on the grass except for the designated trailer and overflow parking area adjacent to the Dairy Barn. As with other State Parks all trash must be removed by the renter at the conclusion of the function and the user agrees to be responsible for maintaining the grounds and parking area in the good, clean condition in which it was found immediately prior to renter's usage.

All reservations are on a first come first serve basis.
Payment will be refunded if the reservation is cancelled at least six (6) weeks prior to the event.
In-Season Pavilion Use April – October $200.00 per pavilion. Rosaryville

State Park Day Use
Rosaryville State Park is a limited use day park open May through September, Friday to Sunday from 10:00 AM to Dusk. The park can be reserved for special events through the Rosaryville Conservancy. Use is subject to availability on a first come first serve basis.

Entrance Service Charge
Honor system chargeable at all times. Open year-round from sunrise to sunet.
Full service use of the park and picnic pavilions is May through October,
Friday through Sunday. Reduced service access to the park is available at
all other times (gate is closed after the first parking lot).

Special Event Park Use – User Service Charge $2.00 per person. In addition day use of Rosaryville State Park can be gained for horseback riding or cycling with an annual pass. For more information please call 301-856-9656.Annual Pass - $50.00

Trails Stewardship Program – Support maintenance of the extensive trails in Rosaryville State Park. $5.00 minimum donation and receive this years sticker to display your support.

Wildlife – Absolutely no poaching. Harm or removal of any wildlife from the park is strictly forbidden, without the expressed premission of the Maryland Department of Natural Resources. Managed hunting is conducted through the Maryland Department of Natural Resources (MD DNR), check with MD DNR for dates.

Flora and Landscape – Flora is not to be removed or destroyed and the landscape is not to be alttered without expressed permission of the MD DNR.

Overnite Use – Rosaryville State Park is not equipped or designated for overnite use.

Fireworks and Fires – Fireworks and fires are not allowed.

Off-Road Motorized Vehicles - No motorized vehicles, (including car, trucks, mopeds, motorcycles, and all-terrain vehicles) allowed off paved areas without expressed permission of the MD DNR. basically, If it has a motor is must stay on the asphault. This prevents damage to the flora and injury to horses using the trails.

From Interstate 95 (the Washington Capitol Beltway):
Take MD exit 11a Route for SR-4 South (Pennsylvania Ave).
Turn right onto Woodyard Road (SR-233 south).
At first light take left on Marlboro Pike, The road?s name changes to S Osborne Rd.
Turn right on US-301 south (Old Crain Hwy)
Rosaryville State Park is about a 100 yards on the right.

From Annapolis:
Take US-50 west toward Washington DC
Take exit 13, US-301 south (Old Crain Hwy) travel about 14 miles
Rosaryville State Park is about a 100 yards on the right on US-301, past the S. Osborne Rd US-301 Intersection.

From Waldorf:
US-301 north
Travel about 10.3 miles (from north Waldorf)
Make U-Turn at S Osborne Road intersection.
Rosaryville State Park is about a 100 yards on the right on US-301, past the S. Osborne Rd US-301 Intersection.
